As the first game I ever played on my Nintendo DS Lite, I was wildly impressed with this. Funny how things change isn’t it? Now as someone who has played through most of the Nintendo consoles, I feel like I would only buy this for sentimental value. It was on my 8th birthday that I got this game. When I bought my DS my Mum chipped in an extra £5 and this game came with it.
What are the objectives?
The objectives of WALL.E are quite simple. Chuck cubes of rubbish onto or against buttons to get across the screen and follow the storyline through some quite funny cutscenes.
Is it fun?
Some of the gameplay can be fun but the very annoying red dot gets me every time. WHY MUST IT BE SO FAST! I am left in the dust while it speeds ahead and by the time I get to the exit the red dot will be totally across the next level. The red dot is not fun it is evil and you should be able to kill it. Although WALL.E does look quite like a cat when chasing it.
WALL.E gets a 3/5 as although it is quite an old game it still gives you a real challenge when playing and can be fun. If you meet the red dot in real life, punch it for me. Hard. In the face.
